About the people

Your crew have grown up exploring the sea around Waiheke and its many neighbouring islands. Grant is a competitive yachtsman with off-shore racing experience and is passionate about preserving the Hauraki Gulf for future generations. During his earlier career in the marine industry with keen conservationist Tony Whiting (of engineering company Whiting Power Systems) he gained an appreciation for protecting the diverse species of Sea-birds who call the sea around Waiheke home.
